Q: Will the tonneau fit over the hood envelope?
A: Yes it will.

Q: Do you need the car to make the tonneau?
A: Yes as all Morgans are different, it's the only way to get the best fit for your tonneau.

Q: Do I really need 3 zips?
A: Yes, as you have to get access to the over center catches in the luggage area to make the area secure and neat.

Q: Does the tonneau work with the side screens fitted?
A: Yes, we suggest you fold the sides up to channel rain water away from the sides

Q: Can I store the tonneau in the hood envelope?
A: Yes, we rolled up it will fit together with the hood, the hood envelope is made to accept it.

Q: What materials can I have the envelope made from?
A: We have made them from leather (most popular option), with or without contrasting piping. We can also make it from matching mohair again with contrasting edge or piping.

Q: Can I hook the hood envelope down as a lid to the luggage area?
A: Yes it forms a secure area for the luggage as the 'great unwashed' do not know where the rear over-center catches are, and therefore cannot get to, to undo them.

Q: Can I fit sun-visors to my car?
A: Yes, they can be fitted to any Morgan depending on which Morgan is how involved it is rather than cover all options, please tell us which Morgan you have and the year and month it was manufactured if possible, and we will guide you through the order effectively.

Q: Are there different types?
A: Yes, you can have leather covered or perspex, the leather will match your interior or contrast with it. The perspex ones come in green blue grey.

Q: Why fit them?
A: From a safety point, the windscreen frame is very narrow therefore does not protect your eyes from direct sunlight, using a hand to shield your eyes is dangerous. Searching for sun glasses is dangerous, but flicking a sun-visor down or up for that matter is a reflex action from driving 'ordinary cars'.

Q: Why so expensive?
A: They are very expensive to produce. 10 different companies are involved with the manufacturing of Windwings. They are a mixture of chromed brass, toughened glass, stainless steel, a secret glazing rubber. All of these parts, apart from the rubber are designed by Simmonds.

Q: How do they differ from the others available?
A: Apart from being more expensive! They fit on the inside of the screen so the side screens close onto them therefore providing a better seal even when they are not in use. But they do not get caught up in the side screens and break. The most important thing is they work well and look fantastic.

Q: Will the wind stop fit with the hood envelope?
A: Yes, in fact it works more effectively because it stops the wind blowing down the back of the seats.

Q: Does it work?
A: It most certainly does, we sell more through recommendation than advertising! It works best with the side screens fitted and the hood envelope.

Q: Is it removable?
A: Yes, easily and it comes with a zip-up bag to store it in. It will fit on the rear carpeted shelf in its bag

Q: Does the wind stop fold flat?
A: Yes, if you wish although I would suggest this is only when the hood is erect.

Q: Does it come in any other colour than black?
A: No, only black

Q: Are there different sizes for different widths of Morgans?
A: Yes, we need the measurement of the width between the wheel arches to help us prepare the wind stop for you.
